Distance learning

Our students come from around the world !

Distance learning enables students to take courses from the comfort of their offices or homes, regardless of their geographical locations or time zones, in the French language, via a high-quality course organization and supervision service.

No need to travel to ENSG to take the course. Learners are supervised and assessed (tutored) by a specialist in training and tutoring. The course is monitored and certified by ENSG.

ENSG offers a wide range of distance learning courses, from short vocational training modules (equivalent to 1 to 5 days' training) to long courses (lasting one academic year or more).

Entry requirements

Taking an ENSG distance learning course requires ease of use of the Internet, e-mail and a connection that supports web conferencing. Depending on the program, students will also need to install specific software on their computers.

Duration

The duration of an online course is expressed in “equivalent face-to-face time”, which equals the “standard” load were the course given in a classroom at ENSG. We allow a longer training period, so that each learner can learn a little each day at their own pace, avoiding overloads of incoming information. What's more, the learner remains available for most of the day during training.

How it works

Digital training takes place on the training platform, which you access using your login and password. Depending on the type of training, the courses include tailored digital resources: theory to read, videos to watch, practice exercises to do, quizzes, exercises to hand in...

In most cases, distance learning sessions are offered asynchronously, meaning that you can log on whenever you like and follow the course at your own pace, either at work or at home, within the given timeframe. The only time constraint is that the teacher will lead synchronous sessions lasting around an hour, via videoconference (or, in certain cases, written chat) at the beginning and end of the course. Other synchronous sessions may also be offered on a regular basis. In addition, teachers regularly answer your questions via forum or e-mail. They also correct exercises and give you individual feedback.

Depending on the program, you may need to download some (free) software before starting the course.

The training is supervised by a teacher specialized in the field, who will monitor your progress, answer your questions and correct your exercises.

What our training course offers

Distance-learning courses are organized over a period of 1 to 5 weeks, equivalent to 1 to 5 days of face-to-face training (1 day = 6 hours of instruction). Students attend asynchronous courses, and more rarely synchronous online classes.
