ENSG-Géomatique, founding school and member of the Gustave Eiffel University

The National School of Geographic Sciences (ENSG-Géomatique) became part of Gustave Eiffel University on 1 January 2020. This university is the result of the merger between Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée and IFSTTAR, a national research organisation, as well as the integration of four schools: ESIEE Paris, ENSG-Géomatique, EIVP and EAV&T. By combining the skills of these six founding members, the Gustave Eiffel University boasts a high level of expertise that is internationally recognised in a number of academic rankings.
Through the combined strengths of its teaching and research facilities, the Gustave Eiffel University's ambition is to ensure its development through the affirmation of a strategy based on the complementarity of its founders. In this way, because it creates better synergies, the University can offer its different audiences a broader range of skills. Whether training young people, employees or citizens at all levels, or providing scientific insights at every level, the Gustave Eiffel University aims to contribute to raising the level of qualifications for all.
The Gustave Eiffel University has several campuses throughout France. The number of staff and students at the university is small enough to ensure that the university remains close to its students and that each student receives individual attention. Each of the sites is committed to developing campus life in order to provide a pleasant living environment on a daily basis.
