The DDMEG vocational master's degree is multi-disciplinary, with a strong emphasis on professionalization through group workshops designed to meet real professional requirements, followed by a six-month individual internship. In addition, 40% of the teaching is provided by professionals.

Demand for environmental professionals with legal, territorial and economic skills is growing considerably in both the public and private sectors. Today, environmental problems are societal issues, and no longer the sole preserve of the natural sciences. Thinking about the environment and acting on it means combining these naturalist approaches with territorial, economic and legal approaches, supported by geomatics, in a holistic approach taught both theoretically and practically in the master’s program.

The program includes courses in environmental law, environmental economics, environmental geography and geomatics, as well as professional workshops and a 6-month internship, enabling students to take a multi-factorial approach to sustainable development issues.

The DDMEG Master's program lasts around 13 months (from September to September), and comprises :

• theoretical and practical training on the premises of ENSG (geomatics techniques) and Paris 1 (lectures in economics, law, environmental geography and group professional workshops), over a period of 7 months (September to March);
• a 6-month work placement (April to September).

Entry requirements

• Students must have completed one year of M1 (Geography, Law, Economics) or have obtained a diploma of at least equivalent level.
• Within the framework of the ENSG-Paris collaboration, students who have completed the first two years of the ENSG engineering program are eligible. These students do not receive the Master's degree, but the ENSG engineering diploma.
• tudents may also apply if they have validated their professional experience or personal work.

Procedure

Candidates are recruited based on a record review and an interview with a panel of examiners.

Registrations are managed on the Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University.
